Today, the Iranian army launched the main stage of a three-day land and sea maneuvers in the south of the country aimed at enhancing its capabilities and coordinating cooperation between its forces.
The maneuvers' spokesman, Brigadier General Mahmoud Mousavi, said that the maneuvers have entered their basic stage on the ground, in which locally-made weapons and equipment are used, explaining that they include the use of underwater and overwater defense and missile systems, drones and targeting long-range targets.
Last month, the Iranian forces launched specialized maneuvers entitled Defenders of the Sky of Wilayat 1400, with the participation of elite units of the Air Defense Force, the Army Air Force and the Aerospace Force of the Revolutionary Guards in the central desert region of the country.
