Iraqi security forces announced tonight (Sunday) that Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Khazimi had survived an assassination attempt by a UAV suicide bomber.
According to additional reports, the house was attacked by two suicide skimmers.
According to another report, a Katyusha rocket was fired at the house.
Residents of the area testified that they heard explosions.
Iraqi security forces, which reported the assassination attempt on the official residence, located in the government district of Baghdad's Green Zone, said they had begun investigating the incident.
