"Romeo and Juliet" has been uploaded on almost every possible platform.
The tragic love story that has long since become a classic and won countless versions on stage and on screen is now reaching one of the most interesting stages, as part of a collaboration between the Israel Philharmonic and the Habima National Theater.
For the first time, the orchestra will share the stage of the Heichal Hatarbut with Habima Theater actors in a special version - a theater concert by Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet, which will feature Gila Almagor, Roni Dalumi, Yigal Sadeh, Amit Rahav and other actors of the National Theater.

The concert, which combines Shakespeare's classical text with the ballet music of Sergei Prokofiev, will be conducted by Lahav Shani and directed by Moshe Kaftan, the theater's artistic director.
The one who translated the play into a contemporary version is Eli Bijawi, winner of the Rosenblum Prize for Performing Arts for 2020.
The concert is scheduled to take place on November 16 at the Charles Bronfman Hall of Culture in Tel Aviv, and later will also run at the Haifa Auditorium and the Schroever Theater in Jerusalem.
