In the "INNOFENSE" competition, technology for analyzing texts was revealed. • The IDF recognized the potential and decided to translate the system for operational use.

90 start-ups applied for the second cycle of "INNOFENSE", an innovation program for dual technological ventures in Mapat's civilian and security sector in the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with the IDF's land and air arms and iHLS.

After examining the technologies, five start-ups will be selected to be accepted into a six-month program.

The first cycle of the program, according to the IDF, was crowned a success, and as an example you are exposed to technology from the "Keotic" company that was assimilated in the Air Force. The startup in the stages of presenting technological feasibility, and harnessed it to the worlds of safety and control.

As part of the Innovation Center, the Air Force examined the system and after recognizing that the technology was working, decided to integrate it into the Corps.

Through the use of technology, the corps has made the interrogation processes, which are an essential part of the Air Force, extremely technological and intelligent.

The new technology mimics the human learning process through artificial intelligence.

Technology knows how to process documents in any language and in any field, and becomes an expert who knows how to produce insights and answer any question.

Hundreds of thousands of safety investigations have been entered into the system and each time the corps performs a certain action - the officers ask the system a question: what can happen or what to watch out for - and get all the knowledge, insights and conclusions learned in the past

In the second cycle, which is now underway, IDF units sought advanced technologies in various fields, from security fields to completely civilian fields: cyber protection in the cloud, autonomous landing of skimmers, sensors in built-up areas, blockchain, energy solutions, garbage removal solutions, Simulators, artificial intelligence, virtual reality and more. "The IDF considers it important to promote innovative developments with advanced capabilities as organizational transformers and their ability to break existing glass ceilings and beyond the organization's exponential progress," noted the IDF's Head of Innovation, Lt. Col. Roi Weitzfeld.

"The plan is the defense establishment's way of benefiting from the amazing ecosystem in Israel in the arena of technological innovation," explained P., one of the Mapat's program managers at the Ministry of Defense. In all areas".

The "InnoTech" conference, which will be held at the exhibition grounds next week, will present the activities of the Innovation Center and the potential for expanding cooperation between the IDF and the defense system and the innovation industry in Israel.
