A cold front struck Hong Kong and the weather was dry. At about 1 pm today (7th), a hill fire broke out at Niu'ao Mountain in Tung Chung. The wind was extremely violent. It once approached the airport air transport center, thick smoke was scattered, and the Ngong Ping plank road was also full of smoke. It can also be seen from downtown Tung Chung. A large number of firefighters came to the scene to fight the blaze. The Government Flying Service helicopters repeatedly threw water bombs back and forth, and the fire gradually came under control.
