Law enforcement officials in the United States announced that there were reports of bombs at American "Ivy" universities.
The Associated Press reported that officials from Cornell, Columbia, and Brown University's Ivy League universities warned students of bomb threats and demanded the evacuation of some campus buildings before the reports were found to be false and the campus was later declared safe.
A bomb threat at Yale University two days ago forced the evacuation of several buildings as well as nearby businesses in New Haven and Connecticut before the university resumed its activities on Friday evening.
