Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke (SPD) left specific details open on Monday, but indicated measures for particularly affected regions.

In Brandenburg, the number of new infections is increasing, especially in the south.
In the Elbe-Elster district, the value of new infections within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants most recently reached 609.4 in the Spree-Neisse district 375.2.
Nationwide, the seven-day incidence is 232.5, which is well above the national average.

The administrative court of Osnabrück has confirmed the ban on cattle transport from the Emsland district to Morocco in an urgent decision.
