The Paris Stock Exchange continues to set records.
The CAC 40 finished at 7,035.89 points on Friday, exceeding for the first time in its history the threshold of 7,000 points. On Tuesday, it had already beaten its previous historic high of 6,922.30 points, dating from September 4, 2000 Since the start of the year, the Parisian index has now risen more than 27%.
And since its low in March 2020, where it sank below 4,000 points, it has offered a spectacular rebound of nearly 80%.
Less well known, the CAC 40 GR, calculated with reinvested dividends, very popular with professionals, has also risen to a historic peak.
He surpassed the 20,000 point mark on Friday, a level never reached before.
