In the Cheung Sha Wan debt-running couple attempted to cover the charcoal burning case, the police today (8th) temporarily charged a 38-year-old man and his 33-year-old wife with one count of attempted murder.
The police said that the two defendants were arrested last Saturday and are suspected of being involved in the attempted murder and suicide attempt in Cheung Sha Wan last Friday. In the case, two boys aged 6 and 2 were sent to hospital soberly.
The case appeared in West Kowloon Magistracy today.
Plainclothes detectives seized the evidence at the scene.

It is understood that the 38-year-old man surnamed Huang and his 33-year-old wife Zheng owed millions of dollars in debt.
The incident occurred at about 12 noon last Saturday (6th). The relatives of the couple visited the two to learn about the debt problem. Someone reported that they had tried to burn charcoal three times in one night and committed suicide. When he woke up with a choking nose and coughing, the couple put out the charcoal fire, but fortunately, no murder occurred.
After investigation by the police, the couple was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, and two children aged 6 and 2 were sent to Caritas Medical Centre for examination.
