Naama Ali, 27, a Muslim Arab from Araba, was today (Monday) appointed CEO of the Kickboxing Association in Israel, a branch operating under the "Eilat" association.
Naama has worked for the last 4 years in the sports department in Araba and is also in the final stages of completing her master's degree in physical education.
"I always wanted to be involved in sports in general and sports management in the community in particular, and when I was elected CEO of the Kickboxing Association in Israel, it was beyond imagination and I am very excited."
Ali adds "I am excited to be a young Arab woman in a role that is usually staffed by a man.
Proud to represent the Arab society in the country and promote the kickboxing industry and especially to be an inspiration to women and girls in sports.
I thank Mr. Honey Sex the founder of the association who believes in me and has given me the confidence that I can help promote and prosper the association.
Many thanks also to the Supervisor of the Sports Administration, Mr. Gazi Nujidat, and of course to the "Eilat" association, who accompanies me from the first step, and helps me learn and develop in the position. "
