Gauting - Yesterday, Sunday afternoon, instead of the Sunday excursion traffic with accidents and traffic jams, a small dog kept the Gauting police very busy.

A 59-year-old from Unterbrunner first got on the S6 to Munich at Starnberg-Nord station on Sunday afternoon. The Unterbrunner immediately noticed in the train compartment that there was a special black bag with a small dog, a Chihuahua mix, on a seat, but no corresponding passenger or owner could be found. The Unterbrunner immediately questioned other passengers, but no one knew how the dog got on the S-Bahn and how long it had been on the S-Bahn. Since the sight of the small, frightened dog did not leave the 59-year-old indifferent, the man from Unterbrunner took the dog and his black cloth bag with him when he got out in Gauting and took him to the Gauting police station.

The Gautingen police found that the little dog is not chipped and has no tax stamp on the collar.

Also in the black bag there was no evidence of its owner.

Inquiries to the surrounding police stations in Planegg, Pasing and the federal police were unfortunately negative, as did inquiries from the DB lost property office, the DB hotline, MVG lost property office and BOB lost property office.

Fortunately, a colleague from the Dießen police who loves animals and dogs, agreed immediately after a corresponding call from her Gautingen colleagues to temporarily take the dog with her in order to save him a stay in the animal shelter.

The Gautinger police and their colleague from Dießner hope that the owner of the little dog will contact the Gautinger police as soon as possible on 089/89 31 33-21 and that he was not consciously "forgotten" by the same or the same.
