An indictment was filed today (Monday) against Joanna Mohin, a 30-year-old foreign caregiver from Moldova, for the murder of a 97-year-old Holocaust survivor she was treating.

Mohin is accused of strangling Judith Goldstein to death last month using a pillow in her bed.



According to the indictment, on the night of October 11-12, the caregiver made the decision to kill the elderly woman in her heart.

Late at night she took a pillow that had been laid on Goldstein, laid it on her face and strangled her with her help for a few minutes with the intention of causing her death.

She then left her room and left her like that.

In the morning, when Goldstein's daughter entered the room, she found her lifeless.
