One of the victims of the stampede at the Astroworld Festival died saving the love of his life. "I'm in hell" says his girlfriend

Mirza Danish Baig, 27, was killed Friday night in the deadly stampede at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas, when he did "everything possible" to allow his fiancée, Olivia Swingle, 25, to escape. the human avalanche that caused eight deaths during the concert of the rapper Travis Scott.

His younger brother, Ammar Baig, who was also at the event, told People magazine what those nightmarish moments were like, surrounded by a crowd of 50,000 people.

"Somehow, the ambulance managed to get to her and then when they reached my brother, they tried to revive him," he explained, but he died before he could get to a hospital.

The couple worked at the AT&T phone company, where he was a district manager in Dallas, and they had planned to attend the concert months in advance.

The woman said on the social network Facebook after the tragedy that she had no words to express her pain.

“My heart is destroyed, my soul has been taken from me.

I was genuinely loved, I had someone who loved me more than anything in this world and not everyone gets to experience that kind of love.

I'm in hell, ”he wrote. 

In his publication he also assures that he will seek justice for the circumstances that took Baig's life.

“I wouldn't be here today if it weren't for him

It has been an absolute tragedy, I don't know how I'm going to survive ”, he added. 

The young man's brother joined this request for justice and also used social networks to denounce the poor conditions in which the concert took place.

Danish was originally from Karachi, a city in Pakistan, and migrated with his family to Texas when he was a baby.

The young man had plans to buy a house for his parents later this month.

More victims identified

Although the authorities have not officially revealed the names of the victims - they have only said that they are between 14 and 27 years old - family and friends have published their identities online. 

There are three Latinos among the deceased: Brianna Rodriguez, 16, Rodolfo Peña;

and Frank Patino, 21. In addition, they lost their lives:
