Preliminary results in Nicaragua give Ortega the winner

The Supreme Electoral Council (CSE) of Nicaragua announced the provisional results in which the Alianza Unida Nicaragua Triunfa, led by the Sandinista National Front of President Daniel Ortega, is in the lead with more than 70% of the votes.

International observers, leaders of other countries and Nicaraguan exiles have described the election day as a "farce", a "parody" and even a "circus".

Rapper Travis Scott sued over Astroworld festival tragedy
