At 10 o'clock in the evening yesterday (8th), a unit on the 20th floor of Hubi Building, Hujing Village, suddenly caught fire. A large number of residents called for help. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished when the firefighters arrived.
According to the source, there were many people in the burning unit, and the situation was critical. Some neighbours hurriedly dragged their throats and put out the fire in time, so as not to cause a tragedy.
During the fire, a 60-year-old man suffered minor injuries to his hand and did not need to be sent to hospital.
The police initially believed that the fire was suspicious and are investigating the incident.
According to online footage, the neighbourhood photographed the corridor outside the burning unit into a sea of flames and dense smoke. Someone exclaimed: "Call the police!" and "Ama! Go, hurry!" After that, several neighbours dragged their throats together in the building. During the blaze, some people used basins to fetch water and pour it on the fire site. At that time, the entire corridor was severely blackened, and a large number of firefighters arrived soon afterwards. Fortunately, the fire was extinguished in time.
