A 2-meter-long Burmese python was discovered on the police barge!
A short video went viral on the Internet, showing a giant python winding between the upper and lower beam tubes of a police ship. A female snake king was called to catch the snake and used a long snake-catching tool to tie the python tightly. When the giant snake was pulled for a moment, the people on the scene heard a "crushing rushing rushing" exclamation.
It is understood that the relevant vessel is the Police Barge No. 4, which is anchored at the Tolo Port of Tai Po in the Chimon Strait. It is a maritime checkpoint and anti-smuggling floating barrier connected to a 1.2-kilometer-long floating fence.
In response to the enquiry of "Hong Kong 01", the police stated that the incident occurred at about 12 noon yesterday (8th) when a marine police barge in the Chammon Strait between the North Division of Marine Police, Tai Po Xiangluo Kok and Phoenix Wat was found. The Burmese boa constrictor, which was about 2 meters long and weighed about 23 kilograms, was later notified to the snake king to be there and taken away and handed over to relevant agencies for processing.
