Hapoel Haifa has looked like one of the best teams in the Premier League since the beginning of the season, with quite a few players providing great performances and impressive numbers.
Two of them, of course, are Alon Turgeman, who tops the conquerors 'table with nine goals in nine games, and Liran Serdel, who tops the cooks' table with four of them.
Yoav Katz, the owner of the club, referred today (Monday) to the recent summonses to the squad and the fact that coach Willy Rotensteiner ignored his players.
"We are disappointed that the national coach chose not to invite not only Alon Turgeman to the squad, but also Liran Serdel," said Katz.
"It's a shame the professional team ignores a striker who scores an average per game and one of the league's outstanding midfielders who has scored two goals and netted four and also tried Capiloto one of the league's standout brakes, all of whom belong to the team at the top of the league and play attractive football."
