The occasion was an interview with
Handelsblatt
on his 70th birthday.
In it he revealed how much pension he received: “915 euros and 79 cents,” said Gottschalk in May 2020. “I owe that to my permanent position at Bayerischer Rundfunk in the eighties.” A substantial amount, even if it is not enough for luxury .
And at the same time, far more than the hit star Jürgen Drews shows on the pension notification.
