Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stressed that the use of force and threats in the context of nuclear negotiations between his country and Western countries is not helpful, stressing that Iran will not surrender and be subject to false allegations and threats.
The Iranian news agency (IRNA) quoted Abdullahian as saying, during a telephone conversation with his German counterpart, Heiko Maas, that "the United States bears the responsibility for the current situation regarding the lack of results in the Vienna negotiations," explaining that its withdrawal and the failure of the three European countries to abide by their commitments increased the mistrust. increasingly.
Abdullahian stressed that the complete lifting of the sanctions imposed on Iran is necessary to produce a result, pointing out that any comment or inaccurate position issued by the other parties to the negotiations that contradicts the reality could jeopardize the ongoing efforts to resume them.
Yesterday, Abdullahian reiterated, during a telephone conversation with British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss, the necessity of normalizing trade relations with his country, as one of the promises made by the other party within the framework of the nuclear agreement during the Vienna negotiations.
