Oberasbach - After an anonymous call, police officers moved to the Pestalozzi School in Oberasbach in the Fürth district * on Monday (November 8th).
The caller said that a student was carrying a gun.
Now a weapon has actually been found in an apartment search.

Oberasbach: Police receive an anonymous call and search school buildings
After the police received the anonymous notification shortly after 12 noon, officers from the Stein Inspection immediately followed her and initiated appropriate action on site.
During a search of the school building and the classrooms, however, the officers could not find a weapon, as the Police Headquarters Middle Franconia * reported.
The suspected student was also nowhere to be found.
After there were no further indications of acute danger at this point in time, the police ended their operation around 1.30 p.m. and school operations continued.
Search of the parental home: officers find PTB weapon on pupil
As the police continue to write, there was increasing evidence in the afternoon that one of the students could actually be in possession of a firearm.
The investigators targeted a 17-year-old.
On Monday evening, the Fürth district court issued a search warrant for the parents' apartment in Oberasbach.
There, the assumptions came true: In the room of the 17-year-old, emergency services from the Central Franconia Support Command found not only a PTB weapon and ammunition, but also a forbidden knife and several grams of marijuana.
A 19-year-old friend of the 17-year-old, who was with the suspect during the search, also had a joint and a small amount of marijuana with him, the police report.
Oberasbach: School excludes affected students for the time being
The officers confiscated both the guns and the marijuana and opened an investigation against the 17-year-old.
He has to answer for violating the weapons and narcotics law.
His 19-year-old friend is also being investigated for violating the Narcotics Act.
The school management of the Pestalozzi School temporarily excluded the affected pupil from the school.
As part of school operations on Tuesday (November 9th), a police presence can be expected at the Pestalozzi School.
