Following the seizure of the weapons and the arrest of dozens of arms dealers as part of Operation Ocean by the Israel Police, Prime Minister Bennett, Minister of Internal Security Bar-Lev and the Commissioner are visiting the Tel Aviv District today (Tuesday) and issuing a statement to the media.
As you may recall, this morning we revealed what the picture of the struggle against criminal organizations in Israel looks like, with an emphasis on the Arab sector.
Police thwarted 150 murders in the Arab sector before they occurred, infiltrated undercover agents into the heart of criminal organizations, arrested more than 500 suspects and confiscated money and property worth NIS 800 million.
Operation Ocean, the largest operation of its kind in the history of the police, took place tonight in the Northern District.
We defined dealing with crime and weapons on the Arab street as a primary and national goal.
Determination, creativity and perseverance, the right way to dry the egg - and we dry it!

The police also indicted 78 weapons dealers through an agent within the Arab sector, including 13- and 17-year-old boys, a Golani combat soldier and a former soldier. As part of the operation, 40 rifles, 14 pistols, two machine guns and two explosive devices with a mobile operating system were seized. .
Police Commissioner Ranz Kobi Shabtai said after the operation was exposed: "The Israeli police can not be there anytime, anywhere. One thing is for sure - the police knew how to deal with the waves of crime. Send the perpetrators to prison. We will continue to do so."
