Deputies give the green light to impeachment against Piñera

The Chilean Chamber of Deputies approved the constitutional accusation against President Sebastián Piñera, after more than 20 hours of debate. With 78 votes in favor and 67 against, the measure now passes into the hands of the Senate. The accusation arises from the sale of a mining company in a tax haven that was leaked in the Pandora papers.
