The essential
Six months before the presidential election, the executive is closely monitoring the epidemic resumption.
Less strongly than in other European countries, but still: hospitals recorded 483 new admissions in 24 hours and 6,865 patients were, Monday evening, hospitalized because of Covid.
The Constitutional Council approves the bill on health vigilance, which allows in particular to extend the health pass until July 31, 2022. It has, however, censored access to the vaccination status of students.
According to our information, one of the avenues envisaged would be to make the health pass dependent on a vaccine booster for those over 65 years of age.
The head of state should also address the subject of pensions and purchasing power.

Emmanuel Macron facing the risk of a rebound in the epidemic.
"A hedge whose height we do not know," agreed government spokesman Gabriel Attal.
This is why the government is working on new measures, in particular on how to encourage the most vulnerable to receive a third dose of vaccine.
Another heavy issue on the table, the extension of this reminder to the entire population.
As for the vaccination of children, still ruled out in France, it is already at the heart of the debates after having started in the United States.
6:48 p.m. The private hospital called to the rescue as winter approaches.
Olivier Véran invites clinics and the Liberals to "take their part" to relieve the hospital. Between the resurgence of cases of Covid-19, bronchiolitis and closed beds, the executive intends to guarantee the permanence of care, of which "the public hospital provides a significant part". Private clinics immediately responded positively to the call. "The minister can of course count on private hospitalization," assured Lamine Gharbi, president of the FHP, in a statement.

Health pass extended until July 31.
The Constitutional Council has just approved the health vigilance bill, which notably allows the government to use the health pass until July 31, 2022. But it censors access to the vaccination status of students for three reasons: the lack of consent, lack of guarantees of medical confidentiality, and purposes that are too “vague” depending on the instance.
