The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 54 deaths and 929 new infections with the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 338,414, while the total number of deaths has reached 19,130.
Mujahid indicated that 522 people recovered from corona infection have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovered to 283,747 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 65 deaths and 903 infections with the Corona virus.
