For TV lovers, this is not a particularly big surprise, given the inconceivable viewing figures that the "squid game" brought to the Netflix network.
Last month, the streaming giant confirmed to CNN that the launch of the Korean series is Netflix's most successful, garnering more than 111 million views since airing on September 17.
The series describes a children's game in which the participants do so in order to win a large cash prize.
The games soon become particularly deadly and bloody.
