Good news in Egenhofen: The 2021 budget has developed more positively than expected.
This is mainly due to the fact that the income from trade tax is significantly higher than expected.
Egenhofen - In its most recent meeting, the local council has now decided on a supplementary budget.
This provides for 9.21 million euros.
In the original budget it was 8.75 million euros.
It is also encouraging that more money can be packed into the savings account than assumed, although the administrative budget has increased.
The administration is currently anticipating an addition to the asset budget of around EUR 133,000.
8900 euros had been planned at the beginning of the year.
It is undisputed that the additional income is good for the budget.
However, with a view to the next few years, it is only “the proverbial drop in the ocean”, as it says in the session draft.
The increase in property tax feared by Mayor Martin Obermeier (NLE) in February is off the table for the time being.
