The Hamas Interior Ministry justified the decision with the fight against "the scourge of communication with the Israeli occupation."
A military court in the Gaza Strip has sentenced two other Palestinians to death for "collaboration" with Israel.
Eleven other "collaborators" have also been sentenced to prison sentences of between four and 15 years and life imprisonment, the ministry said.
The court had "followed the procedures prescribed by law".
Another man was sentenced to death for drug trafficking.
Hamas, which governs the Gaza Strip, is taking massive action against people it suspects of collaborating with Israel.
Two weeks ago, the military tribunal had already sentenced six people to death.
They allegedly passed on sensitive and accurate information that led to the killing of militant Palestinians by Israel.
Hamas then announced that "collaborators" who surrender to the authorities would receive lighter sentences.
Under Palestinian law, death sentences must be approved by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, but Hamas has already overridden the provision on several occasions in the Gaza Strip.
Earlier this month, Gaza City-based Al Mezan Human Rights Center expressed "deep concern about the continued imposition of death sentences by the military judiciary" in the Palestinian Territory.
For years, Hamas has repeatedly had violent clashes with Israel.
According to the Palestinian authorities, 290 Palestinians were killed in the most recent 11-day conflict last May, including many fighters.
In Israel, 13 people were killed by Palestinian rocket fire, including one soldier, according to the police and military.
