The number of people who received the vaccine against the Corona virus completely amounted to about 450,000, while the number of those who received the first dose exceeded 650,000 people, according to the Director of Health Care at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Razan Al-Tarabichi.
Dr. Al-Tarabishi explained in a statement to SANA that a slight increase in the demand for vaccination was observed in centers and hospitals, pointing out that the mobile teams allocated by the Ministry to immunize those wishing in government institutions continue to provide the vaccine of all kinds, as part of its health procedures and instructions.
Dr. Al-Tarabishi stressed the importance of adhering to preventive measures such as wearing a mask and maintaining spatial distance, in addition to receiving the vaccine, as it is the only way to reduce the severity and symptoms of infection and reduce the need for admission to intensive care.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health has allocated more than 967 centers and hospitals in addition to 200 mobile teams in villages and areas where there are no health centers in the governorates.
