Consulted for the first time by the mayor of Paris on the project to develop the ring road into an urban boulevard, Ile-de-France residents will once again have a say in this transformation, which still arouses a lot of reactions.
This time, it is the LR president of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, who gives them the floor.
From this Wednesday, until the end of the month, they will be able to vote online.
On www.consultation-periph.fr, they will be able to express themselves in particular on one of the flagship measures of the project: the loss of a traffic lane which will be reserved for buses and carpooling.
By asking the motorist if he is "for" or "against", the responsible LR intends to explode the number of dissatisfied.
An overwhelming majority
Because this ring road remains a place of passage for more than 1 million vehicles per day.
In 40% of cases, it is also used by Ile-de-France residents when traveling from suburb to suburb, while only 20% of users are Parisians.
