Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani is the new head of Iranian negotiators on the nuclear issue.
He was in Paris on Tuesday for a meeting at the Quai d'Orsay, three weeks before the resumption of talks in Vienna to save the 2015 international agreement.

Our priorities concern the lifting of the illegal sanctions applied to us, because the essential question is the withdrawal of the United States from the 2015 nuclear agreement, everything then follows from this withdrawal.
Consequently, the lifting of sanctions will be at the center of discussions in Vienna.
Anything that can lead us to an agreement with palpable consequences for the Iranian people is most important to us.
