The Advocate General requested Tuesday, November 9 before the Assize Court of Appeal of Bouches-du-Rhône the criminal imprisonment for life against the former Polish consul in Monaco, Wojciech Janowski, for having ordered the assassinations of his stepmother, billionaire Hélène Pastor, and the latter's butler.
"
Without him, nothing happens, everything starts from him,
" said Pierre Cortes after a long indictment in which he exposed "
the avalanche of overwhelming evidence
" against the accused.
This justifies, according to him, to condemn as in first instance to life imprisonment, with a safety sentence of 22 years.
