At European Union level, green finance flows will be conditioned by this process initiated months ago by Brussels called “taxonomy”, the subject of a strategic battle between capitals.
The taxonomy consists in designating the activities contributing to the objective of carbon neutrality in 2050, which will benefit from better financing conditions.
The latest news is that the European Commission is considering including nuclear and gas in the taxonomy.
