The health authorities in the Russian city of Petersburg imposed a mandatory vaccination against the Corona virus for those over the age of 60 and those with chronic diseases.
Russian media quoted the city's chief physician, Natalia Bashketova, as saying today, "The procedure includes those who suffer from diseases of the respiratory, cardiovascular and endocrine systems."
According to today's statistics, Petersburg is the second region in Russia after the capital, Moscow, in terms of the number of deaths in Corona, and the third region after Moscow and the Moscow Region in terms of the number of people infected with the virus. Petersburg recorded 88 deaths and 2,680 infections during the 24 hours.
