Sarah Jessica Parker is responding to criticism about her physical appearance as she ages.
Parker says that she and her former "Sex and the City" co-stars have received some negative comments about how their physical appearance has changed as they age.
The cast is currently in production on the
spinoff

"There is so much misogynistic chatter in response to us than ever. It would happen. About. A. Man," Sarah Jessica Parker told

"'Gray, gray, gray. Do you have gray?"
In July, Sarah Jessica Parker showed off her gray natural roots during a lunch out with friends.
She referred to the frenzy that followed, saying, "I'm sitting with Andy Cohen, and he has a head full of gray hair, and he's exquisite. Why is it okay for him? I don't know what to say to you!"

Parker adds that scrutiny has worsened due to social media.
"It almost feels like people don't want us to be perfectly fine with where we are, like they almost enjoy being hurt by who we are today, if we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or if you do something if that makes you feel better, "he said.
"I know how I look. I have no choice," he added.
"What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?"
