The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection has suspended the pricing of milk and cheese issued by the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus.
In a circular, a copy of which was received by SANA, the ministry instructed those concerned with auditing and re-examining the costs accurately due to the unjustified high prices.
A new price bulletin was recently issued for dairy and cheese in Damascus, in which the price of a kilo of yogurt was set at 7,500 pounds and a kilo of yogurt was 2200 pounds.
