The seven-day incidence across Bavaria is on Tuesday, November 9, according to the Robert Koch Institute, at 348 (as of 3:12 a.m.).

The previous day the value was 316.2.

19 cities and districts report an incidence of over 500. The district of Miesbach * in Upper Bavaria was again the front runner in Germany on Tuesday with an incidence of 868.4.

Corona situation in Bavaria: Söder-Kabinett advises on the worsening situation

The hospital traffic light in Bavaria has been red since Monday, as more than 600 intensive care beds in the Free State are already occupied by Covid 19 patients.

This has resulted in a tightening of the applicable measures since midnight.

Now the cabinet wants to discuss the worsening situation again in its meeting on Tuesday.

What will be decided is not yet certain.

Individual tightening in public areas would be possible, but also relief for students between 12 and 17 years of age.

A vaccination recommendation has only been in effect for these since August, most of them are unvaccinated.

The criticism that an expansion of the 2G rule would exclude young people from social life is great because they are no longer allowed to participate in sports or other leisure activities, for example, even with a negative PCR test.

Of the 612 Covid-19 patients who were treated in the Bavarian intensive care units on Monday afternoon, 324 have to be artificially ventilated.

In some areas, such as the Bad-Tölz-Wolfratshausen district, a ban on visiting all clinics has already been imposed - including those who have been vaccinated.
