As of this writing - 4,000,333 vaccinated Israelis have received the third dose that complements their immune defenses.
This news was published the evening before the crucial discussion on the issue of giving corona vaccines to children aged 11-5, which will take place tomorrow and will be closed to the public.
A statement issued by the Corona Virus Information Office said that the world's leading medical and research bodies recommend receiving the vaccine and that it is safe and effective, noting that "the third vaccine is needed to supplement the immune system and many countries around the world follow Israel and give it to their residents."

At the same time, the Ministry of Health this evening published the latest corona data on the spread of the virus in Israel.
As of 18:28 tonight, 134 new carriers have been identified in Israel today, constituting 0.73 percent of 40,854 new tests.
Yesterday, 563 carriers were identified in Israel, constituting 0.66 percent of 91,079 new tests.
The coefficient of adhesion remains stable at 0.89.
The number of active carriers in Israel stands at 6,322 people, with 153 people hospitalized in critical condition, of whom 103 are respirators.
The number of deaths as a result of the plague now stands at 8,130 people, with one person dying today and two people dying yesterday from the complications of the disease.
Meanwhile, tonight data were also published on the effectiveness of the booster dose, which shows that out of 153 patients in critical condition, only 15 were vaccinated in the third dose - about 10 percent.
Also, in the last ten days, only two corona patients vaccinated in all three doses have died in Israel.
