Despite criticism from parents, students, teachers and doctors as well as increasing corona numbers, the government in North Rhine-Westphalia is sticking to the freedom of masks in lessons.
The state cabinet had not considered lifting the measure, said Prime Minister Hendrik Wüst (CDU) on Tuesday after the meeting in Düsseldorf.
Düsseldorf - In North Rhine-Westphalia, the requirement to wear a mask at the seat in class on November 2nd fell.
With its many regular corona tests in the classes, the government "packed a lot of security around this decision," said Wüst.
“We didn't make it easy for ourselves somehow.” In schools, there is “no unusual infection rate”.
