The star was exposed to harsh criticism from her followers after uploading a set of her photos to Instagram, a few days after the disaster at a performance by Travis Scott, her sister's partner

Chloe Kardashian is under heavy online criticism after uploading a set of photos of herself, a few days after the tragedy that occurred at a performance by Travis Scott, her sister Kylie Jenner's partner.

As you may recall, eight young people were crushed to death last weekend, during the rapper's appearance at the Houston's Asterworld Festival in Texas.

In addition, 27 people were hospitalized as a result of the incident, after suffering suffocation and partition-related injuries.

Kardashian shared bold photos of herself on social media yesterday (Monday), and many of her followers saw it as an act of what they define as "opacity" and "carelessness."

"People are dead, Chloe," one of the respondents wrote to her, after seeing that the reality star broadcast things as usual despite the proximity to the tragedy in a performance by someone close to her and her family.

Alongside this, the fact that Kardashian did not express sorrow for the dead or send condolences to their loved ones and relatives provoked much anger.

Courtney, Kendall, Kylie and Kim Kardashian have suspended their activities online and have not published self-promotion materials since November 5, when the catastrophic event occurred.

One of the seriously injured in the incident is a 9-year-old boy named Ezra Blount, who is in a coma in a Texas hospital.

Ezra sat on his father's shoulders during the performance, and when the fluctuations and pressure among the crowd began, his father lost consciousness and Ezra fell from his shoulders and was crushed by the crowd.

The boy's family told US media that he was experiencing swelling in his brain and that all his organs were bruised.

Among the injured are young people aged 14, 16, 21, 23 and 27.

Chloe's decision to release sexually explicit material led her followers to call her "deaf" and insensitive.

"Your brother-in-law is involved in a mass tragedy and you're uploading seductive photos? Bye," read one of the comments, which also indicates the removal of a follower from Chloe's Instagram account.

Others have argued that this is an inappropriate act and that it is not the time for such images, which indicate self-concentration.

"People died during a show and the Kardashians can not stop attracting attention," read another comment, and another read: "Posting a nonchalant picture while eight people died at your brother-in-law's show over the weekend ... how classy."

It should be noted that apart from suspending their activities on the network, none of the Kardashians' daughters responded to the tragedy.

Kendall Jenner, who was present at the venue with her sister and several friends, mimicked a photo from the festival that shared her account.

Kylie, Scott's partner, issued a statement on his behalf, saying the two were "broken and devastated" and were sending "thoughts and prayers to all those who had lost their lives".

These are tense times for the family as well, as Kylie is currently pregnant as she and Travis await the birth of their second child.
