News for Beatles fans:

A new song by two of the marvelous quartet, which has never been released or played, was recently unveiled and won its first worldwide play, after being discovered in a loft in England.

The song, called "Radhe Shaam" (a name given in Indian culture to boys, meaning "Lord Krishna") was written and produced by Indian broadcaster Suresh Joshi in 1968, that is, during the band's years of operation from Liverpool, and it contains G's guitar playing George Harrison, while the drummer's position is manned by Ringo Starr.

The song was discovered at the home of 75-year-old Joshi in Burningham, by a friend who came to visit him during one of the Corona's closures.

It was played for the first time in front of an audience of 100 people today (Wednesday), at the Beatles club in Liverpool.

Joshi, who was a friend of the late Harrison, is the one who introduced to the legendary guitarist the music of the legendary Indian artist Ravi Shenkar, who had a huge impact on Harrison - which also led to the creation of the band in which he performed.

The song was recorded during a break Star and Harrison took in the studio, while recording the song "Hey Jude".

Alongside them is the Indian classic Ashish Khan, but Joshi claims they never found the time to officially release him.

"Time passed, the Beatles were about to fall apart and they had all sorts of problems, so no one wanted to take it out," the songwriter told the UK media.

Despite this, Joshi said that the corona plague also brought with it a blessing - "because we had nothing to do".

He further said that the song was discovered when he told his friend, Deepak Patak, about his musical past.

Patak, an avid Beatles fan, insisted the two search for the lost recordings.

When these were discovered, they were sent to music producer Suraj Shina, who restored the recordings and mixed them.

Joshi argues that the song is relevant to us today as well.

“The song itself revolves around the idea that we are all one and that the world is our oyster,” he said.

"It's something we all realized during the plague."

According to the director of the Beatles club in Liverpool, the audience that listened to the segment for the first time "really liked it".

He further said that the song is "absolutely amazing", and that there is no mistaking the contribution of Harrison and Starr to the work.

"Radhe Shaam" will be released as an official single this coming Thursday, when all of its proceeds will be donated.
