Six Palestinian prisoners are continuing their hunger strike to protest against the continuous crimes of the Israeli occupation against the prisoners.
Al-Asir Club clarified in a statement today, reported by Wafa Agency, that the striking prisoners are Kayed Phosphorous, who has been on strike for 119 days, Miqdad Al-Qawasmeh for 112 days, Alaa Al-Araj for 95 days, Hisham Ismail Abu Hawash from 86 days, Ayyad Al-Harimi from 49 days, and Luay Al-Ashkar from 31 days.
The Prisoner's Club indicated that the prisoners suffer from extremely dangerous health conditions, such as a lack of fluids and vitamins, irregular heartbeats, severe exhaustion and fatigue, especially the two prisoners of war and phosphorous, warning of the possibility of a sudden health setback and the rise of one of them as a martyr.
About 5,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails face harsh detention conditions, including 600 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention.
