An American journalist detained for several months by the junta in Burma has been charged with terrorism and sedition, his lawyer told AFP on Wednesday, and faces life imprisonment if convicted.

Danny Fenster, who was arrested while attempting to leave the country in May, was
charged
with
"two counts under Section 50 (a) of the Anti-Terrorism Act and Section 124 ( a) of the penal code, ”
his lawyer Than Zaw Aung told AFP.
