A gift against loneliness: Vincent Kammerloher and his team are organizing a gift campaign for needy seniors again this year.
True to Mark Twain's motto "The best way to make yourself happy is to try to make someone else happy",

together with his energetic helping hands,
would like to
help elderly people in need and those alone
this year with the
aid campaign and have no one left to
make the
Christmas season a
little more beautiful. This year without the
city and district of Freising
behind their backs, the team feels ready and hopes to see many senior citizens happy again.
The citizens of the district showed a high level of commitment and a lot of empathy in 2020, so that shortly before Christmas a total of 15 institutions for senior citizens were able to look forward to a large part of the packages. In addition, the parcel team was supported by an outpatient care service in Zolling and the owners of the “Portofino” pizzeria in Attaching. These helped, especially in the difficult Corona period, to contact the elderly who lived at home. So, together with his free lunch, Sette delivered the Christmas packages to the seniors in Freising, and the nursing staff distributed the packages on their tour. This made it possible to give away all gifts to private households and institutions on time for the festival. The shining eyes of the recipients made it clear back thenthat there must definitely be such an action again in 2021.

The aim is, as in the previous year, to bring the parcels to the retirement homes and the district and to give the people who live there a little joy at the festival.
But many elderly people also live in their own four walls in the district, without access to social life.
Many senior citizens have no relatives or relatives who live far away, hardly get any visitors and often only have a small pension.

Lots of beautiful things can be packed, nothing perishable, things that can be kept (coffee, tea, crackers, chocolate), but nothing that has to be cooked / prepared before consumption, hygiene articles, puzzle books, magazines or a nice book.
What shouldn't be missing in the Christmas season are cookies, gingerbread or jam.
A self-written Christmas card, a cuddly toy or other personal gifts and handicrafts from the children are also welcome.
The packages should be labeled whether they are for a woman, a man or neutrally.
