The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 56 deaths and 921 new infections with the emerging corona virus during the past 24 hours.
The Ministry's spokesperson, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has so far reached 339,335, while the total number of deaths has reached 19,186.
Mujahid indicated that 619 people recovered from corona infection have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of people recovered to 284,366 people to date.
Yesterday, the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population recorded 54 deaths and 929 infections with the Corona virus.
