But a con man ended up in court because he is said to have threatened and coerced his girlfriend - a real policewoman.

District

- A 34-year-old from the Freising area obviously has a preference for the police.

He liked to tell women, with whom the defendant started something, that he was an "ex-cop".

His last girlfriend, on the other hand, is really with the police.

She was of the opinion that she had found an ideal partner in the 34-year-old - until she found out that a fraudster who had been marching through Freising as a fake police officer for a few weeks was her boyfriend.

The 34-year-old had repeatedly taken parts of her uniform out of her closet unnoticed and set off with them.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Before the jury, however, the focus was not on the scam, but on the end of the relationship, which was presented completely differently by the parties involved.

After the policewoman had overcome the "total shock", according to a court officer, it was clear to the woman that she wanted to end the relationship.

When handing over personal items, the 34-year-old managed to gain access to the apartment: According to the witness, hours of fear and personal humiliation followed for the policewoman.

The ex-girlfriend herself had testified in camera.

Too much remains unclear

After two days of taking evidence, too many ambiguities remained for the lay judge's court with judge Christian Lederhofer: it was therefore acquitted.

The warrant was overturned.

However, it is not yet certain whether it will stay that way: the public prosecutor's office had demanded a prison sentence of three and a half years.

It can therefore be assumed that she will appeal the judgment.

As previously reported, there was testimony against testimony.

Defendant suspected an act of revenge

The 34-year-old had stated at the beginning of the trial that the allegations against him were a plot of revenge by his ex-girlfriend.

It was he who wanted to end the relationship.

"She couldn't cope with that." It was also the officer who asked him into her apartment on the evening of June 21 when he brought a few things over to her.

But he subsequently refused.

The defense attorney Günter Reisinger then requested the acquittal following his client's pledges of innocence.

The woman concerned had told the police officer that she had discussed forever with the defendant in the underground car park.

When she got hungry, she was persuaded to take her former boyfriend into her apartment.

Policewoman portrays violent scenes

As the evidence showed, there were then probably quite violent scenes in the policeman's apartment.

The 34-year-old put a pillow on the woman's face several times in the hours that followed, threatening her.

Once he squeezed her neck, was portrayed in court.

The woman then managed to escape from the apartment, but the 34-year-old caught up with her.

After a two-hour discussion in the hallway, she let him back into the apartment around five in the morning, believing that he would pack the rest of his things and leave.

Instead, he coerced her into sexual acts.

Another escape around 8:30 a.m. was finally successful.

It was not until October 2020 that the accused, who also liked to introduce himself as a member of the Quandt family, was sentenced by the regional court to imprisonment of two years and eight months in an almost identical case.

A short time later, he wrote to the policewoman on a dating platform.

When she found out about the conviction, he assured her, according to the 27-year-old, that he was innocent and that the whole thing went back to a plot by his ex-girlfriend.
