Penzberg - The new carnival season starts on Thursday (November 11th).
Also in Penzberg: As the first highlight, the OK presents its prince couple.
With Holger Fey, the emotional state is twofold.
“We're still a little nervous about how the people feel,” reports the President of the Organizing Committee (OK) Penzberger Fasching to the Rundschau.
"But we are really happy." The nervousness is caused by the fact that in view of the rapid development of the corona numbers, no one currently knows how things will really go on with events and restrictions.
In any case, everything should start as planned at the Penzberg carnival.
On Thursday (November 11th) Mardi Gras begins on Rathausplatz.
Then the Penzberg call sounds again: "Don't let it go!"
First step is important
Last year, "the small mistake" was made of wanting to keep all options open, the OC boss looks back self-critically.
In the end there were some online formats.
This year the approach to the foolish thing is very different.
"We're going to full force," announces Fey.
The calendar looks accordingly (see box).
You can always slim down, says the President, if necessary.
It is important to everyone involved that you now take the first step into the fifth season.

Gaudiwurm planned for 2022
Kudos from the President for all those involved.
“They've been with us for months,” says Fey of the Garden's training ethic.
The groups had started training again as quickly as possible after the end of the last carnival.
Fey: "That was rigorously carried out in accordance with the Corona rules." And maybe there will be a Gaudiwurm in 2022: Everything is still open and no contact has been made with the district office - but the appointment is "definitely blocked" on February 27th, reports the OK boss.
