Thirty-two, according to our census, 32 business leaders who have taken it upon themselves to make jeans "made in France".
Pioneer of this movement, the 1083 brand, named after the distance, in kilometers, between the two most distant cities in France, Porspoder (Finistère) and Menton (Alpes-Maritimes).
Its founder, Thomas Huriez, in his thirties with a smile and an educator, is leading the way for the entire sector.

In 2018, 1083 thus came to the aid of one of its suppliers in difficulty, the spinning mill Tissage de France, which has existed since 1832.
Out of 88 million pairs of jeans sold in France in 2020, “made in France” weighs less than 1% of the market, with 100,000 pieces.

Since its creation in 2013, 1083 has aroused vocations: Le Gaulois jean, Monsieur Falzar or Chevrons.
