With the daily increase in the number of corona cases, the willingness to vaccinate in the district is also increasing.
The rush to the vaccination bus is correspondingly high at the moment.
There is also more going on at the vaccination center in Wolfratshausen.
Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen - When the vaccination bus stopped at the Tölzer Löwen stadium on Friday evening, those wishing to be vaccinated “had to wait longer than an hour,” says Marlis Peischer, press spokeswoman for the district office, in an interview with the Tölzer Kurier. About 100 people got their injections that evening. A similar picture emerged on Tuesday when the vaccination mobile stopped at Tölzer Schützenstraße from noon and injected in the actually closed rooms of the vaccination center. A queue about 100 meters long formed.
You don't need an appointment to be immunized by the vaccination bus team, you can just come over.
What you need to have with you: your ID and - if available - your vaccination certificate.
On site you fill out an information sheet with a declaration of consent and the vaccination sheet, the documents are handed out by security staff and collected again.
The forms are used for registration.
Once that is done, you will be called and given your vaccination.
The vaccination in the vaccination bus is no different than in the vaccination center, but it is associated with a longer waiting time, according to Peischer.
Vaccination according to Stiko recommendation
Vaccination is carried out according to the recommendation of the Standing Vaccination Commission.
This means that currently only vulnerable groups such as people over 70 years of age, people with previous illnesses and nursing staff receive the so-called booster vaccination.
But: People whose second vaccination was less than six months ago cannot yet be "boosted" and will be turned away, as the district office announced.
Otherwise, anyone over the age of twelve can pick up a first or second vaccination from the vaccination bus.
With the closure of the Tölz vaccination center, many only have to go to the vaccination bus.
“The rush is generally high,” says Peischer.
"In the late summer in particular, the vaccination came to a standstill, that is currently different."
