Belfort is the cradle of Arabelle, the steam turbine for nuclear power created by Alstom and taken over by the American General Electric (GE) with the energy activities of the French group in 2014. The president wanted to announce in the same movement the relaunch of nuclear power and the return to French fold of Alstom's nuclear activities, thanks to their acquisition by EDF.
