The hospital traffic light is red in Bavaria. The Bavarian Ministry of Health has drawn the conclusions from the meanwhile 609 patients who are being treated in intensive care units in the Free State.

From tomorrow, for example, 3G will apply in the workplace, an expansion of the 2G rule and many industries will switch to 3G plus.

As the DIVI intensive care registry showed on Monday, 609 people with Covid-19 were in the intensive care units in Free State at noon, more than half of them need ventilation.

Nationwide, only 446 intensive care beds are free, of which 155 Covid-specific beds with ventilation options.

According to DIVI, 604 corona patients were treated in Bavaria's intensive care units on Monday morning (as of 8.45 a.m.).

Stricter corona rules have been in effect for everyone in Bavaria since Sunday *: The mask standard has generally been increased to FFP2.

Where the 3G rule previously applied, 3G-plus now applies.

Universities are excluded from this.

2G applies in clubs and discotheques: Unvaccinated people are no longer allowed to enter.

Since Monday, all students have to wear masks in class again.

Red light threatens in Bavaria - These corona rules apply

If the hospital traffic light in the Free State turns red, unvaccinated employees in companies with more than ten employees who have contact with other people have to present a negative test twice a week.

Trade and local public transport are excluded from this.

The 2G rule then applies to many events and institutions.

In gastronomy, accommodation companies and body-hugging services (e.g. hairdressers and beauticians), 3G plus remains the same.

This rule has already been implemented by the yellow traffic light level on Saturday (November 6th).

But when do the stricter rules apply?

As soon as the State Ministry of Health and Care has determined that 600 occupied corona intensive care beds have been exceeded, the stricter rules apply on the following day. 

Seven-day incidence for Bavaria at 316.2 - two counties over 800

The seven-day incidence for the Free State on Monday was 316.2.

Only the city of Munich has an incidence of less than 100 throughout Bavaria.



For the Rottal-Inn district, the RKI stated an incidence of 833.3 on Monday - the second highest value nationwide, closely followed by the Mühldorf am Inn district with 831.
